Privacy Policy

RankUK collects the minimum data needed to run the leaderboard and process payments. This policy explains what we hold, why, and your rights under UK GDPR.

1. What we collect

When you submit a listing we store: company name, tagline, website URL, optional logo URL, category, region, optional Companies House number, bid amount, and email address. We also log clicks and visits to update public stats.

2. Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store card details. Stripe may process your data under their own privacy policy and terms.

3. How we use data

We use your email to send receipts and, if your listing is outbid, a single alert email. Public listing data (name, tagline, URL, logo, category, region, bid rank, click count, claimed time) is displayed on the public leaderboard.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use a minimal visitor counter and necessary session cookies only. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

5. Your rights

You can ask us to correct or delete your listing data by emailing the address shown on the homepage. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data.

6. Retention

We keep listing data while the listing is active plus a reasonable period for legal and fraud prevention purposes. Rejected listings and unused drafts are deleted periodically.
